Raiders - Calling Your Shot

What if, when Babe Ruth called the famous home run shot he hit a pop fly instead. That's what happened today. We're all excited that the football season is here, and like many misguided fans Greg was rooting for his Raiders. He even went so far as to say that he would be blogging about their undefeated season after they won today. Sorry Greg, you popped it up and you are out! I'm sure he'll get plenty of emails :-).

The Raiders lost; against the Lions. Instead of having an undefeated season so far, we can instead say that they haven't won a game all year! Maybe the Raiderettes should play, they might have better luck.

If you're going to call your shot, you gotta be able to deliver! Don't build you house on sand.

USC - Go Trojans!

What a great game! It was great to see USC beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl today. Booty really played great!

Just think, they'll be even better next season, even if DJ goes pro.

I didn't go to USC, but grew up in So Cal and many of my friends did and two of my brother-in-laws a alumns. I spent the night on campus once then went to the game the next day. It was great! It's also the night I discovered that I'm a sleepwalker.

Anyway, go Trojans!
